There’s something about older comedians that make me think that they are the smartest people in the world. They have thought every thought possible, and worked everyone of those thoughts out to the bitter end in an attempt to make a joke or bit for the stage. In a way, it’s not that different from skating. Skaters work and work on tricks, eventually filming them, cutting it up with endless scrutiny to finally produce a finished part. In this episode of Jerry Seinfeld’s great Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee series he touches on skateboarding with Chris Rock at 11:37. Jerry used to famously cruise around the Seinfeld set on a board and would often hit up LA skateshops to get completes as gifts for friends and fellow actors.
